Thrown and altered to its unique sweeping shape, with a natural driftwood handle woven to the body of the pot with enamelled copper.
Food safe, hand wash and occasionally oil the natural wood handle.

WOODLAND PLATTER

Thrown on a wheel then altered, tossed and stretched to the comfortable, wobbly, wabi sabi oval. The handles are curly hazelnut from my own tree in East Vancouver. The handles are woven on with delicate but strong copper wire. The glaze is a matt cream, breaking beautifully over the rich red brown clay.
