Course Description
Join me, Ilena Lee Cramer for a three-part workshop exploring the process of working with wild clay—from foraging and hand-processing to finishing and pit firing. The series begins with a foraging and processing session on Saturday, November 15 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Ilena’s studio (2111 Main Street, Unit #109). The second session focuses on preparing work for pit firing; November 22. This session will also take place at the studio. The final session, the firing day, will be held on Saturday, November 29 4:00 to 7:00 PM at 4561 Dumfries Street. Please note that this is a private backyard location with cats. Coffee, tea, and marshmallows will be provided—participants are welcome to bring snacks or beverages to share. To register and reserve your spot, please e-transfer $160 (half of the total class fee) to ilenaleepottery@gmail.com. The remaining balance will be collected at the first class. Space is limited.
